Santa Fe Opera - Founded in 1957, the company has presented more than 1,500 performances of some 120 operas. Enjoy a tailgait dinner before the performance. Santa Fe Indian Market - The world's largest marketplace for Indian arts, hosted every August on the plaza in Santa Fe. Spanish Market - The Spanish Colonial Arts Society's Annual Traditional Spanish Market in Santa Fe celebrates the rich Hispanic culture of Northern New Mexico. This is the oldest and largest exhibition of traditional colonial art in the United States. Concurrently, you will find the Contemporary Hispanic Market featuring Hispanic artists creating contemporary art. Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta - In October, the New Mexico skies are painted as hundreds of balloons lift off from Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta Park for nine day.
